S-SBR is manufactured by an anionically initiated solution polymerization of styrene and butadiene. Compared with SBR manufactured by emulsion polymerization, S-SBR is excellent in processability, viscoelasticity and physical properites at low temperature.
Since the weight-average molecular weight and the microstructure of the polymer backbone, such as vinyl content and styrene content, can be easily adjusted, it has the advantage of being designed for several different purposes. |
